Zorgers, a Healthcare service provider is transforming the way Home Health Care industry works. Four years into operations, Zorgers’ success is seen through a high turnover of existing client base (10,000+), testimonies from repeat clients, 7 Mn + hrs of caregiving and 600,000 visits/ shifts till date. “When you are ill, there is absolutely nothing that can replace the comfort of a home or loved ones around. My mother had been sick for quite some time so my wife always looked after her. But with an additional responsibility to take care of both kids, eventually, my wife also started to feel fatigued often. My travel-prone work would usually keep me busy enough to not come home for 48 hrs at a stretch! That’s when I realized the need of a homely caregiver who could take care of the health of my family the same way or even better than I would, and Zorgers was founded,” shares Varun Gupta, Co Founder.

Change they wish to bring

With a monopoly in its genre and dominance in the state of Punjab, Haryana, and Himachal Pradesh, Zorgers plans to mould from a Home Healthcare Service Provider in Tier 2 cities to a Care Aggregator in Metros (Amazon of Home HealthCare), the foundation of which has already been laid. Zorgers aims to increase their presence from 7 Cities to 50 Cities in the next 3 years.

“I wanted someone who could easily communicate with my family, and someone my family was comfortable in having around all the time, because it’s important that when you aren’t feeling good, someone looks after you, like you are their own,” adds Varun as to how Zorgers is making it big with their USPs.

Investments in this startup will only be going to help them bring the revolution they are looking to bring in the home healthcare space, along with high-end tech-enabled platforms that would help manage Caregiving at the comfort of their homes.

According to various surveys’, the Indian Home healthcare market is estimated at USD 4.6 billion and expected to reach USD 6.21 billion by 2020. The demand for home healthcare professionals like Nurses, Para Medic, Caregivers, Physios’, Doctors and Wellness Expert, has resulted in the emergence of home-based services that are catering to grass root needs of the healthcare ecosystem.
