Cardiologist Deems Covishield 'Worse In Cardiovascular Effects’

The Covid vaccine from Oxford/AstraZeneca is significantly worse than the mRNA jab from Pfizer in terms of cardiovascular effects, heart attacks, strokes and clotting issues in both younger and older adults, he said

Eminent British-Indian Cardiologist Dr Aseem Malhotra, claimed that Oxford-AstraZeneca's jab, administered in India as Covishield, was even "worse" in terms of cardiovascular effects, heart attacks and strokes.  The doctor has been leading international calls for the suspension of mRNA COVID-19 vaccines. Dr. Malhotra told PTI that Covishield "should never have been brought out in the country in the first place" and has sought a thorough safety evaluation of the use of AstraZeneca's Covid vaccine.

Dr Malhotra is in India this week where he will be giving a series of lectures on COVID vaccines for an "evidence-based case" for their suspension. He is also a National Health Service (NHS) trained medic.

According to him, there have already been calls from around the world for the suspension of mRNA vaccines like those produced by Pfizer and Moderna due to their severe side effects, particularly those affecting the cardiovascular system.

The Covid vaccine from Oxford/AstraZeneca is significantly worse than the mRNA jab from Pfizer in terms of cardiovascular effects, heart attacks, strokes and clotting issues in both younger and older adults, he said, according to a comparison done up until June 2021 and published in a peer-reviewed research journal.

Last year, the Oxford/AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine was deemed "safe and effective for all individuals aged 18 and above" by the World Health Organization (WHO).

According to Dr. Malhotra, the main problem is that commercial entities and huge pharma firms were permitted to control the politicians, regulators, and media, which ultimately led to a pandemic of misinformation amidst doctors which unintentionally harmed members of the public.
