Madhavbaug, a cardiac clinic chain in India is planning global expansion by setting up its healthcare centres in UAE. The clinic chain plans to establish a network of 50 lifestyle modification clinics across the UAE in the next 24 months along with a distribution network for its health supplements to various pharmacies all over the region. The company will initially focus its operations in Dubai and Sharjah and gradually expand to other parts of the UAE, the company said in a press statement.
The company is all set to invest 20-25 million Dirhams for its first phase of expansion in UAE, which hosts roughly about 3.5 million Indians, accounting for 38 per cent of the total population. In India the company already has over 270 centres spread across 8 states, the statement further stated.
“UAE has the highest prevalence of Diabetes in the whole world i.e 16 per cent. A significant proportion of the population is also expected to be in the pre-diabetes state. Diabetes being a major risk factor for heart disease and stroke, and the prevalence of cardiac attacks are also on rise in the UAE. Hence, Madhavbaug with its non-invasive approach of reversing these lifestyle disorders holistically will be the right fit for the UAE market predominantly made up of Indians,” said Dr Rohit Sane, founder, MD & CEO, Madhavbaug.
Madhavbaug will make available its Copyrighted therapies and diet plans to treat Type 2 diabetes, hypertension and other cardio-metabolic disorders. Therapies for stress relief, insomnia, and chronic digestive diseases along with inflammatory joint disorders will also be a part of the therapies, the statement stated.
